I have a question about the wording of Meganetic Protocol
specifically:
The defending hero must defend this with X equipment they control with -1{d} counters if able,
the way this reads to me is that regardless of -1{d} present on equipment, the defending hero must defend with at least X equipment.
EG:
Nic controls 4 equipment without any -1{d} counters. Tyler attacks with x = 2, Nic must defend w/ 2 pieces of equipment even though none have -1{d} counters.
Nic controls 4 equipment, with one piece having a -1{d} counter on it. Tyler attacks with x=2, Nic must defend with the -1{d} piece and one other piece as well to meet the requirements
Alternately:
Nic controls 4 equipment, with one piece having a -1{d} counter on it. Tyler attacks with x=2, Nic must defend with the -1{d} piece and that is all, since no other equipment they control have -1d counters
