Hello, I’m trying to find info on using young hero version of the cards for classic format and vice versa for blitz. Are players able to use their hero cards and just represent their life total to the appropriate number for the format?
Example, player using a cold foil alt art Rhinar from the classic battles as a CC hero and updating life to 40 instead using a die or counter; or using their cold foils marvel adult Rhinar as a hero for blitz with 20 life. Tyia.

I'm fine with that with some notable exceptions - that is hero is obtainable only via opening boosters (Arakni and Arakni Huntsman) In that case I might be OK with that as well, but player have to present proper hero card as well with them.

I would suggest what I did with an alt art previously. Take a top loader, get the correct card with all the correct information, and put it back to back with the alternative inside the top loader. Then whenever someone needs clarification/a cleaner view of the card, you just flip it to the other side.
In this case, having that available means that whenever you go to a stricter/more competitive setting, or a store where that isn't allowed, you have the correct card right on hand to display at all times as well.
