If Uzuri uses her ability and swaps an attack that was already defended with an actio Give and Take, does Give and Take's ability trigger?

~~No, give and take was never "defended" by anything.

It's a triggered ability that is specifically looking for the "defend" event which occurs during the defend step when 1 or more objects are declared as defending. Because give and take is added to the chain during the reaction step it misses this timing~~

It seems that give and take is actually a state-based triggered ability, which would trigger when it is swapped in with Uzuri. We need to wait for the release notes and CR update to be absolutely certain.

Thats interesting: you could swap a Give and Take for a Give and Take to get 2 triggers if thats the case 🤔

Bumping for clarity. Give and Take wouldn't trigger when swapped in with Uzu since cards have already defended?
