HI, sorry if ive missed something obvious- if i play a card costing one and pitch a blue, i have 2 floating resources, if i play another card costing one can i pitch a blue card to pay for it or do i NEED to use the floating resources , my understanding (and hope) is that you can only pitch to pay a cost, meaning i could pitch to pay the second cost?

You are only allowed to pitch if you need more resources. If something costs 0 or you have floating resources that fully cover the cost you aren't given the chance to pitch

1.14.2a and 1.14.3b for reference

@hybrid flame Also to help with clarity. If something cost 2 resource, and you have 0 resources flotations, you can pitch a red then pitch a blue. If you need cards in pitch/out of hand/etc.
