In the reaction phase, player A plays sink below announcing that he will be activating the sink effect, player B responds with Pummel. Player A would draw reckless swing from the sink below.

Does player A get to resolve sink below’s effect immediately to draw the reckless swing and respond with it as a second defensive reaction?

The attacking player may play pummel in response to sink below, before sink below resolves

If it is done in this order, the pummel will resolve, then the sink below will resolve and the defending player may decide to sink and draw or not, but the reaction step doesn't just end. Priority returns to the attacking player and both player must pass with no layers other than the attack waiting to resolve to move to the damage step, so the defending player has more opportunities to play defense reactions
