I have a few ideas for the dojo so that it's not just for decorating and chilling and then slowly being forgotten, but also offers gameplay advantages.

the apprentice and restet bonus
While you're relaxing in the dojo, you can send your apprentice into battle to continue collecting gold and elixir. You can also access your apprentice's view via an icon while your main character is relaxing to actively participate. The idea is that your main character builds up a rested bonus while relaxing in the dojo, for example, 2.5x gps for up to 24 hours. However, depending on your dojo's setup, it takes longer to build up this bonus. Initially, you might need to be in the dojo for an hour to get 10 minutes of bonus, while with a fully equipped dojo, you can replenish the bonus for 6-12 hours in just one hour. Your apprentice is simply a secondary character that you can freely choose from your unlocked heroes. Your apprentice won't be able to use the dojo and therefore won't have a rested bonus. your apprentice will automatically become active when your main char return to the dojo. -
Mini games
Here's a little idea for when you're in the dojo and want to do something: mini-games like fishing, where you have to click at the right moment to get gold or elixir worth, say, 10 minutes of offline income. Or meditation, where your character gets a thought bubble in which you have to catch very fast-flying little fireflies. You have two minutes to catch as many as possible. Each firefly is worth five minutes of offline income, so the more fireflies you've caught, the more offline income you'll have. Optionally, each caught firefly could also contribute one minute to the rested bonus. If you have any other ideas for mini-games, feel free to write them below. Btw the meditation minigame should have an cooldown so it dont be abused maybe 2 hours -
decoration bonus
The decorative bonus fits to my first idea. The more you upgrade and decorate your dojo, the faster your rest bonus builds. Better furniture pieces provide more comfort (bonus). Your comfort level is based on the furniture you have placed. You can buy furniture and decorations from the Amber Shop and also unlock them with achievements.
That's all I could think of for now. Here are a few concept art pieces for the functions.
ps. most of this text was made with google translator so dont bother the grammatical issues if there are some.
