I used the the perfect ascension option from the task to complete the requirement of getting to research 10 but it only gave me upto 6.

You acquired the newly added Big Brain Move achievements for Tiers 7-10 before using the Perfect Ascension for that event task?

I used this option in the last event and it worked fine. Has it been altered since then? Just checked I don't have the 5 new achievements for big brain.
