I can assure you that this ladcoupe is as clean as possible, but for unknown reasons the cleanstate just gives me 2 stars for it.

Could have some dents in it, or some broken side glass. Go around the car with a hammer and see if there are any dents that can be knocked out. If you can't use a hammer, then check the side glass. If that doesn't fix it I'm not sure without having a better look at the car.
Either that or it is just dirty and needs washing.
If you have the paint booth mod. Just roll it in the booth and wash it for a $100

Drove the car from the garage to the junkyard to do the checks with hammer and bodyfiller.
No dents, but although the car now really is dirty again, the stars have doubled...

did the same drive from garage to junkyard, only in the 2nd and 3rd attempt i only got 3 star rating for clean state (everytime i started i had 2 star rating and an absolutely clean car and arrived with a dirty car, nevertheless got better clean state rating.)
After finding 5 spots with rust and or missing paint and corrected those, i drove back again to garage and had 2 stars before cleaning and 3 stars after cleaning.
All i can say is: it's weird that making the car more dirty by driving to the junkyard gives me clean state stars although the car gets more dirty - that's weird - and that i still haven't found the reason why the cleaned car won't get more than 3 stars.
can't find a dent nor a scratch and it's the first time i encounter those difficulties after 1237 hours of playing this game.
P.S.:
Currently i only have 10.59 $ ingame, so even if i was using mods i couldn't afford the car wash without cheating.

I'm not sure what it could be then. That is strange. It could be caused by the overall condition only being 3 stars. Other than that I'm not too sure.
