#Audio effects at fault of sounding bad?

need help with my voice. I think its absolutely atrocious, and listening to it makes me want to throw the pc out of the window, but I've got feedback that it isint that bad so ig the human psychology is at fault there, but thats not the problem. My issue is, I dont sound "entertaining" or "clear" enough, I cant pinpoint what it is, but I suspect it might be caused by the postproduction editing of my voice (limiters, compressors, normalizers). I attached my sound (origin), and the type of sound/voice Im aiming for (ref1, ref2). Any and all ideas on how I can sound better will be very appreciated.

Frankly, your origin recording is objectively better than the others. One has a bunch of reverb and the other sounds like a distorted usb mic. As far as performance, my first impression is that you are speaking too quickly. Slowing down and allowing yourself to feel the words you're speaking is going to help. Nothing to do with compression or limiting.
