#How can I fix the "s" sound in audacity

My "s" sound is so loud that it hurts my ears if I play it on full volume, I assume it is because I pick wrong effects while editing,
What I do is;
1- Normalize, 2- Noise Reduction, 3- Filter curve -> Bass Boost and Treble Boost. How can I fix this so anytime I pronounce a word with "s" it doesn't pop the eardrums of people listening
