Does anyone know if there is any migration plan anywhere for Archetype from Umbraco 7 to 8? Thanks

Is it correct that there is no Archetype migrator? If there's none, which migrator would be best to use as an example if we should implement it ourselves? /Rune

Please note that nested content is also obsolete and will be removed in v14 😅
Not sure what uSync migrates it to.

Can it work from U7 to U8 though, the docs seem to suggest only U7 to U10? There are reasons I can't go to U10 😄

uSync file format is the same v8 - v10, so it can work for v8 - but you would have to run in on v10 and then grab the migrated uSync files and import them on v8 - and then think about your life choices 😉

And just realized that we talked you out of using your new boss' tooling .. 😉

However, Block Grid doesn't exists in 8 does it? So that part wouldn't work.

Not sure if Block Grid has been used on this project so may not be an issue.

Block Grid was introduced in v11 😉 you're thinking legacy Grid 🙂
