Triple Cavalry/Double Swordsmen option:

This option follows the idea behind putting Cavalry researches we would focus mostly into the good use, swordsmen are used to protect Cavalry in open-field battles from Pikemen attacks.

• MARCH 1: TACTICAL CAVALRY;
BELISARIUS 5 star (Lofty Mountain)

  1. Conquering Iron Hoof
  2. Crushing Impact
    HANNIBAL 5 star (Ring of Crow)
  3. Double Attack
  4. Weak Spot Attack
    CLEOPATRA 5 star > ASHOKA 3 star > 5? (Scorching Flame)
  5. Double Attack/Roar of Victory
  6. Crushing Impact/Weak Spot Attack

note; Swapping from Cleopatra to Ashoka is crucial, since he will allow Belisarius to cast his secondary strike skills much more and it is important because we cant make double attack work in this march.

• MARCH 2: WARRIOR CAVALRY;
LUBU 5 star (Daisy)

  1. Ripper Tiger
  2. Weak Spot Attack
    ATILLA 5 star (Ring of Night Wolf)
  3. Critical Inisight
  4. Warrior's Hymn
    TIMUR 5 star (LOTEH)
  5. Tempered Steel
  6. Critical Inisight

note; Atilla requires two sets of hero skills, depending if he is being played in cavalry or archer march. This will become clear once we come to second option featuring other part of guide downwards.

• MARCH 3: MARSHAL CAVALRY;
EL CID 5 star (Ring of Lion)

  1. Furious Charge or Roar of Victory
  2. Weak Spot Attack
    TOMYRIS 5 star (Ring of Shark)
  3. Rending Covenant
  4. Roar of Victory
    TARIQ 5 star (Radiant Ring)
  5. Spirited Pursuit
  6. Weak Spot Attack

note; For now El Cid/Tariq are best heroes we can use in this march, Saladin doesent fit this build. Tomyris allows for El Cid to enter double attack state and Tariq will use Radiant Ring for that purpose, all that accumulating normal attacks for Tomyris's Rending Covenant hero skill. Ring of Shark goes nicely with El Cid's commander skill to further debuff enemies from recovering health.

• MARCH 4: TACTICAL SWORDSMEN;
SULEIMAN 3 star > RAMSESS 5* (Ring of Rose > Everflame Wings)

  1. Conflagration/Flame of Genesis
  2. Strategy Master's Gift/Strategy Master's Gift
    CHARLEMAGNE 3 star > 5? (Tranquil Water)
  3. Conflagration
  4. Sowing Discord
    THEODORA 5 star (Ring of Falcon > Skyward Knight)
  5. Maneuver
  6. Immortal Army

note; Suleiman 3 star can be played for some time until Ramsess is developed to 5 star that he really needs to work.

#

• MARCH 5: WARRIOR SWORDSMEN
MIYAMOTO 5 star (Ring of Badger)

  1. High Spirit
  2. Furious Charge
    TRIBHUWANA 1 star > LAGERTHA 5 star (Ring of Bear)
  3. King's Blade/High Spirit
  4. Righteous Judgement/Raging Bloodline
    YODIT 5 star (Ring of Deer)
  5. Executor
  6. Furious Charge

note; Im still not sure if Tribhuwana will be swapped for Lagertha. In case she does get swapped, running High Spirit on Miyamoto and Lagertha will be crucial to rise skill activation chances for both of them and make their combo feel more consistent.

Lubu Cavalry/Double Archer/Double Pikemen option;

This is second option. It revolves arround switching to it once we run out of Cavalry and Swordsmen troops. It allows us to keep on fighting while putting our Archer and Pikemen troops to use. It requires some hero swaps from option one as well as some rings/equipment. All this shouldnt be hard since it allows us to keep on going and not have to wait for more troops to be trained.
Keep in mind this option is more demanding then first one, but it is something to be developed over time while using option one.
Think of it as fine tuning and maxing your possibilites as you progress. Few reasons why this one is more demanding are for example: requires Ashoka,two set of skills for Atilla and Tomyris,Sacred Sage ring.

#

• MARCH 1: TACTICAL PIKEMEN;
BELISARIUS 5 star (Lofty Mountain)

  1. Conquering Iron Hoof
  2. Crushing Impact
    ELIZABETH 3 star > 5? (Ring of Crow)
  3. Tudor Rose
  4. Triple Offensive
    ASHOKA 3 star > 5? (Scorching Flame)
  5. Roar of Victory
  6. Weak Spot Attack

note; This march requires Elizabeth and Ashoka to work, so it cannot be used before start of S4.

• MARCH 2: WARRIOR CAVALRY;
LUBU 5 star(Radiant Ring)

  1. Ripper Tiger
  2. Weak Spot Attack
    RANI 3 star > 5? (Ring of Deer)
  3. King's Blade
  4. Warrior's Hymn
    TIMUR star (Ring of Bear)
  5. Tempered Steel
  6. Critical Inisight

note; We use Rani instead Atilla here, compared to first option. Reason behind this is because we will move Atilla to our fifth march downwards. There are changes to rings as well, proceed reading towards fifth march; Warrior Archer for better understanding.
Since we arent running Marshal Cavalry in this option, we will borrow Radiant Ring from Tariq and use it on Lubu, this is especially important since we are taking away Atilla from the march compared to option one.

• MARCH 3: MARSHAL PIKEMEN;
RAM 3 star (Ring of Lion)

  1. Savage
  2. Peaceful Haven
    TOMYRIS 5 star (Sacred Sage)
  3. Tenacity
  4. Peaceful Haven
    BUSHRA 3 star > ALEXANDER 3 star > 5? (Ring of Badger)
  5. Peaceful Haven/Peaceful Haven
  6. Tenacity/King's Blade

note; This march is used to give useful buffs to us and our allies arround, while debuffing enemies. Main purpose is to be tanky and have good sustain from recovering health to be able to survive battles as long as possible and provide longer up times of buffs/debuffs.
Tomyris requires two sets of hero skills same as Atilla we mentioned. This is due to her Rending Covenant skill not being useful in Pikemen march. We are swapping Ring of Shark as well for Sacred Sage ring.

• MARCH 4: TACTICAL ARCHER;
RAMSESS 5 star (Ring of Rose > Everflame Wings)

  1. Flame of Genesis
  2. Strategy Master's Gift
    CHARLEMAGNE 3 star > 5? (Tranquil Water)
  3. Conflagration
  4. Sowing Discord
    THEODORA 5 star/SEONDEOK 5 star (Ring of Falcon > Skyward Knight)
  5. Maneuver/Maneuver
  6. Immortal Army/Immortal Army

note; Similar to option one tactical swordsmen march, with addition of Queen Seondeok being possible for use. The idea behind using Queen Seondeok is to pair her silence skill with Everflame Wings's silence in order to shut down marches that revolve hard arround using Active skills. Some examples of such marches are Warrior Swordsmen,Tactical Swordsmen, Tactical Archers and possibly new Marshal Archer march featuring new Mythical hero Hatshepsut.
