Heroes Skill points - Explained

This guide is meant explain Hero’s skill points only.
This guide will not talk about individual skills.

What does Skill points help with ?

1. It helps with improving benefits of skills usage.
   a. It will not help in improving activation chances of skills or any new skills to be added.
2. It applies to Skill slot not the skill itself.
3. Out of 4 skills these are used to improve only 3 skills called as Signature, custom 1 and custom 2.
   a. Does not apply to Commander skill; it is tied to Hero XP level.

How many skills are there for heroes ?

Every hero has 4 skills at max that can be there and used if they are commander in solo battle.
If it is a rally, then commander skills will not be used for any player march that is part of that rally. Hence, at max 3 skills per hero can be triggered.

What is difference between Skill slot and Skill ?

The last two skills are custom skills and are slot skills which have option to change them, with 6 other options available to be picked from.
Thus, any improve of skill points are applied to slots and not skill, helping you not needing to improve all 8 skills if you keeping changing the skills.

How many levels are there for skills to be improved ?

Every skills have at max 40 levels that it can be upgraded to.
The limit of skill level available is dependent on Hero XP level.
At start it skill has limit of 10 levels and increases by 5 for every 20 XP levels.
But, not all skills are available at start as Skill slot 1 enables at XP level 25 and Skill slot enables at XP level 38.

How skill points are required improve the skills ?

Commander skills are automatically improved every 20 XP levels of Hero and defines limit for other skills.

While other skills requires to use Skill points to improve them.
The requirement keeps increasing per level with following pattern increasing the requirement :

Formula is X+Y where X is what limit was on previous level and Y is new-addition from following table :

• Lvl 1, X = 100, Y = 0
• Lvl 2, Y = 40
• Lvl 3, Y = 50
  Where Y keeps increasing by 10 every level for first 10 levels and then only increasing every 2 levels between 15 to 25 and then only increasing every 4 levels till level 39.

How much skill points is required to max out hero skills ?

To max out to level 40 a skill you need approximately 101k skill points.

Since, each hero has 3 skills that can be improved, thus you require approximately 303k skill points per hero.

Each march has up to 3 heroes, which thus requires total of 909k skill points to maximize all skills of heroes in march.

Each player, has limit of 5 marches of 3 heroes each. Which will require 4.5 million skill points.

If you are trying to do for all heroes, if you have unlocked all of them, then with current count possible is 54 heroes.
You will require 16.2 million skill points.

How do hero get Skill points ?

1. When heroes in march fight against tribes with stamina usage you get skill points equal to tribe level multiply by 4.
   a. Hence try to only fight maximum tribe level possible, which is 30 at some point providing 120 skill points per kill.
2. Doing certain exploration missions which gives in multiple of 200s depending on exploration levels, which more effective in terms of stamina usage.
3. Participating in events the amount will not look great but will add up. Mentioning some of them here :
   a. Kingdom's Hoard
   b. World Campaign
   c. Warrior's Trial
   d. Holiday Events
4. Buying in stores such as :
   a. Alliance Treasury – The coins are received during donations, contributions, Trojan, with good activity this can be done easily.
   b. Arena – This one requires some effort as it is based on your activity and strength. Unsure if it is effective unless you are top ranking rewards.
   c. Island Tactics – Since this can be collected passively up to 12 hours maximum it is easy one to do.
   d. Wandering Merchant – She will sell skill points for resources, which is very easy to get as you can gather or produce resources easily.
5. As always there are packs the Pay2Win players can always go to.

What recommended level of Skills to get to ?

• Best is to max out, not possible for everyone right away (I have not maxed any of my heroes yet).
• Always focus first on your main march as it what you will use for fighting mostly PvE or PvP
• For other heroes, if you are limited on skill points use on the ones that you use in your marches for Arena first such that you can get better rewards. Then the ones you use for Island tactics for increasing passive coin collection. This will help collect from skill points for improving further.
• Lastly, I would recommend to use for other heroes in your 5 marches. Any hero not in your 5 marches using on them is a waste as you are only benefiting on power count but not able to generate from skills.
• If any hero who is moving out of you marches and you have ability to reset hero, then use on them such that you can reuse the skill points on new heroes when replacing.
