I bought the Plug N Play version, so I believe SBUS is the proper setting. I have done all the setup on betaflight, I have tried different firmware versions, fully updated my 04 pro air unit, my Goggles 3, and RC3 on dji assistant 2 as well. But still I get no output from my controller whatsoever.

but are you sure the rc3 is supposed to work with fpv drones?

isnt it more for dji's consumer drones

I think you need the dji fpv controller
