Help with position and altitude hold. | Betaflight | Page 1

I have a Micoair 743V2 flashed with 2025.12.0.RC2 from the micoair gethub. When setting up the modes angle mode illuminates when in the proper range. along with all the other modes i set up. Altitude and position hold do not illuminate when in the desired range. I have played around with it to and followed JBs tutorial with no success. Had a fix on my gps as well with 10 sats . Any ideas is this normal?

can you share screenshot of current betaflight MODES for ALT and POS HOLD?

When I put my modes into POS and ALT HOLD the position indicator moves to the middle of the mode, and the mode does not illuminate, so I think you should be OK.

and does your po and alt hold work ? Do you fly in a straight line for a bit like JB does in his video or do you just make sure you got a good fix and send it?

without a mag you must fly in a straight line to orient the quad or pos hold will fail. Altitude hold doesn't require the straight line stuff, Position hold does.

So all my quads have a compass/ mag one on the FC and one on the GPS
