Hi,
This is my first time building a drone so I'm very much a newbie, please let me know if I've skipped something basic! The issue is pretty much as the title states, the drone is really eager to take off and the moment it gets off the ground it starts falling, even at 100% throttle on the stick. It can shoot up to 10m in a second but falls all the way to the ground where it bouncrs and remains about 5cm off the ground hovering. I've used AIRMODE and HORIZON mode but they do the same thing in terms of elevation. The drone is based on a SpeedyBee F7 V3 stack with 4 emax 1300ish KV motors running 7" props in a 6S configuration on a fibreglass frame. ive gone through the configuration a few times and have even reflashed it to latest v4.5.
In terms or the power usage I've seen through the app, it seems to start at 18A and drop to about 4A, voltage stays around 23v.
I haven't figured it out yet but if I manage to get the black box data I can share it but I suspect there's something much simpler that I missed.
Here's a video example, nearly the whole time the throttle is 100% on the remote. I've browsed around for the last few days and still can't find any documentation on this so any help is really appreciated!
