Motors direction is driven by ESC. If they turned on correct direction when 4.4, they will be good on 4.5.
Just do not forget to configure props direction in BF.

Very weird, yeap. I migrated also my machines to 4.5, from 4.4. They were getting reordering of motors cli info also. I'm props out... But they did turn proper direction then... Motor rotation direction is definitely driven by ESC...
I can't tell you what's wrong...
If you are sure that you got correct motors ordering ( because if ordering is not correct, that would explain why it is occurring wrong)...
