hello all, i am planning to install the GEPRC TAKER stack below to an upcoming LR build. however the FC does. it seem to have a barometer feature and i am not too keen on installing this extra peripheral. would it be fine to utilize gps altitude for reference? i shall be using an M10 equipped HGLRC M100 module which can easily lock in excess of 10 sats from cold start.

Why not use the baro? It's more accurate than the gps. Especially it you cover it with open cell foam

Check altitude_source or altitude_prefer_baro

oops correction on previous message! it DOES NOT SEEM to have a barometer!

the point is there seem to be no barometer feature in the geprc stack. please check the link i have included if it is indeed the case. its odd they release a decent stack without a functional barometer!

i would have preferred a barometer if it were available.

oh this seems to be a logical solution having the gps module containing the barometer chip via SDA/SDA connection! definitely worth a try,

after a quick read, it seems the M1025 offers options for the magnetometer and barometer on this series of gps module.
