Hey is there going to be a recall on the HYTE Y70TI’s or is there going to be just a run around solution for years ? I see a lot of people w/ problems with their screens, and now the new Nexus update doesn’t even start. We would forgive you & understand if this is a problem you just can’t get ahead of. Some type of company wide acknowledgment w/ updates would help a lot of us customers. All I ever see is @dense hatch helping ppl. Not many other names talking to people & helping them out.

Real quick. Go to the nexus download software to all the way down until the April update then it should work.

No there is not going to be a recall for the screens because the screens are physically OK.
The issue is entirety isolated to the software, regardless if the user has a Y70 screen or not, and we're still investigating why some users are experiencing it. You should be able to get it running with version 2.12, I do not recommend using the version @zealous shell suggested because then you'll need to deal with winring0 defender pop ups.
So I reinstalled the new hyte nexus and it’s back starting up. I have the hyte logo that pops up. Touch function works but the screen is still black. Windows doesn’t detect the screen to extend the display to the Y70.
