The metal on the Hoslow piece matches the thematic of engraved armor and sometimes it matches in hue under certain lights. The downfall is the red skirt and bad shading on it. The metals on the Carian Knight one matches perfectly because duh, but the boots are just plain ugly. They don't match the leathers on the chestpiece either.

I always tell everyone if you love what you're wearing then there's no reason for you to listen to me. But I like my outfits and give just a bit more care into how my character looks. First one doesn't match, chest and legs pair well but the helmet is GOLD and the gloves are silver and bronze.

This one's pretty good, I see where you're going with all the red colors. The only thing that bothered me were the leather gloves, when you get into the DLC there's a pretty difficult mob that gives a really good pair of bracers but it matches this outfit really well I think.

I'm afraid the third one ain't it chief, the veil and skirt looks good but that top is pretty bad and that's not even your fault. It doesn't play well at all with a lot of stuff. But if you're interested in using it there's gloves called Errant Sorcerer Machettes that mesh really good on that top.

@gilded willow First one was a trend for some time in vanilla. Confessor Hood with the Briar Armor was a pretty banging combo - I paired it with Drake Knight pieces to match that red.

I can't really speak on the second one, Loretta's Armor is one of the very few pieces I refuse to wear because of how tacky the shape is

Im making a "Millicent's sister" build. Lategame I'll be using scarlet rot incantations & hand of Malenia. What weapons should I use in the early/midgame? I want a selection of weapons that are preferably not gold. So far I use the shamshir, parrying dagger, estoc, shortspear, and a small wooden shield.
