the experience of ER is pretty characteristically unique for a FROM game.

idk i liked DS3 a lot and the pvp in ER isnt really done yet if the patch history is suggesting what i think it is.

Should i get Dark Souls 3? I've only played Elden Ring a load and the first Dark Souls a few times, as well as some of Dark Souls 2. Would DS3 just feel old and unpolished compared to Elden Ring? I've heard that it's both easier and harder, as it's not open world but also bosses dont have bs amounts of attack delays. As mentioned i've beaten DS1 a few times and Elden Ring loads, so would i enjoy it?

You don't deal with bs enemies 24/7, and the bosses aren't random enemies

I beat the game

It was a long, painful, and grueling process. My build went from honorable knight to rob spam. I killed a lot of npcs for some reason. I killed demigods and gods alike. I made friends along the way, and I worked hard.

And I’m happy with it. I don’t plan on playing ng+ but I will in the future. 10/10 experience cause holy hell it was an experience. And I’m gonna be honest I cried. It was a great game. Thank you fromsoft. Truly

It's not, it's very different. MH combats are unmatched against Souls/ER, Sekiro's very good, but still, MH wins by far

The story isn't really relevant, in World is pretty trashy. Many things in that game could improve, many. But still, it's a solid game to play, mostly with friends. But this goes to all the franquise, not only World, except World's problems. Those are something else

Monster Hunter just feels different. It's not about being just better, if you feel like that, it's because you like one thing more than the other, but you can't compare any DS game or ER with any MH

You just can't, it has no sense to do it

They're two different games and franquises. The ""souls-like"" isn't really a thing at all. If it's hard, then it's dark souls. F*** no, that logic doesn't applies to all games. Some games may be inspired, directly copied things, or have a DS feeling, and obviously either they're kinda hard or the controls or moves are thrash. Monster Hunter has nothing to do with ANY Dark Souls, nor Sekiro, nor Elden Ring, nor Bloodborne, nor Demon Souls, nor Nioh 1/2, etc

But then, why did I said that MH fights are a lot better than any souls? Partly because I like them more. But in something more serious, they feel like you're actually fighting a dragon, wyvern, bird, death, whatever. ER, DS bosses fights can feel like that too, but they're just bosses. You fight them once every gamethrought. In MH, you farm them if you want to. You aren't forced to restart everytime you want to fight something again. Because they aren't unique. Some, in lore, kinda are, but the games kinda ignore that since they're like 1 or 4 every game. In DS, Sekiro, and so, bosses are unique (Except bs "bosses" from ER, like, normal enemies you'll find ahead), so you feel like you won them, and that's all. They don't have dups or so. They are made to be fought once, or twice (Owl in Sekiro, 2nd phases after 1st hp bar gone bosses). It feels great, too.

If anyone's thinking about buying World or Rise, the dlcs are the best part of the games

Base Rise is very good, but Sunbreak is splendid. Really really good

Iceborne (World's dlc) may not be perfect. The meta kinda sucks since it's go op or good luck, but you can screw the meta, trust me, I have 600 hrs in that game, it's more about skill

In the most old games this isn't really a thing. Skill is good, but gear's a lot more important since there's a lack in movement and movesets

So yeah. In graphics and satisfying mechanics and fights World wins. In literally everything else, Rise wins.

It depends on preference. Im big dsII fan. When it comes to pvp which I play a lot, dsII supersede all three souls. I love the builds which is crazy, and the world design is very beautiful. Im understand each criticism but this game will always be dear to my heart. Its one game I keep playing again and again. The best way to know if a game is good is to try out yourself and play it and most importantly to be patient and give it time

They are both different games. Sekiro have stable difficulty and require good parrying. Elden ring is big world with many things to do and there is flexible difficulty. But both are different games so it depends on someone’s playstyle

Sekiro but once you get the hang of it it gets really easy so idk I think it maintains its challenge throughout especially since even with every attack upgrade and skill you'd need you're still gonna have a tough time on end game bosses.

End game bosses stay the hardest but normal content gets easy which I think is fine since wolf is getting back to his old self and is way tougher than the jobber dudes

And a couple mini bosses are crazy tough even with endgame stats

You need enough stats to wield a weapon, the requirements are at the bottom right of the description. You upgrade those stats with runes, nothing to do with weight.

it doesn't have anything to do with not meeting the weight requirements

if it's too heavy, you'll get fat rolls or become overloaded, but desides that you can wield a weapon so long as you have the stat requirements
