i platinum BB 3 times. there are 2 bosses you gonna suffer a lot

one being a giant big foot with worms coming out of its head (i think its in one of the chalices) and the other is a furry-lava-dog

the main bosses arent THAT hard. ROM can be easily defeated if you take care of the lil' spiders first

and there's a micolash exploit that triggers his teleport animation so you can stab him 2 or 3 times then repeat. you'll take him down easily

Off context question still about elden ring that would be impossible to answer (i dont even know) my friend, he likes the game, sometimes has a skill issue but overall enjoyable to play with. We have about I would say around 100 hours in this game together. He hasnt gotten past liurnia. The problem? He keeps on wanting to restart, I told him I would beat the game with him but he constantly either gets bored of his build, or wants a different build. You would think that would be an easy fix. I mean rennala respec is in the game right? Wrong. When asked he says "If I respec my build it doesnt go with my character" or "It doesnt feel right" So I am stuck in this endless loop of him browsing the wiki on which flavor of build he wants to try for less than 20 hours before moving on to the next. I dont know what to do.

It's basically just 2D Tekken with how they ensured that the mechanics they put in place to allow you to break juggles flat out don't work. Wakeup attacks to let you get back into the fight and reset? Nope. They all come out slowly enough that literally any character can just do a basic string and boom you're back to being juggled, but this time for the last 5% of your HP.

That’s the thing, I love the idea of commanding your troops around a battlefield while you’re in it real time but CK3 seems to have a slightly more convenient and polished User Interface and management system.

With mount and blade you're leading from the front lines, and strategy is only moderately important. It's a lot of rock paper scissors, unless you just outclass your enemies troops.

But premade assets aren't free. The classes to learn how to make assets of the quality that people demand, aren't free. Food, water, and shelter so you have time to take those classes+develop the game, aren't free.

That's just looking at the graphical side of things. If you're a solo dev you got more to learn, or more people to pay to do it for you at which point you won't be a solo dev.

I like it because of how many servers have a ridiculous number of channels for different languages, purposes, etc. It cleans up the UI. Now, for smaller servers it doesn't make much sense but larger ones it's nice to have. Also helps slow down the bots that those servers get assaulted with.

Of you manage your expectations it's a really good game and like all these games it's different enough that it totally makes sense that it's someone's favourite

Expectations should be managed not only because it's not Miyazaki and it's the supposed b team but because it changed development focus completely mid project from what I've heard, like it was gonna be a different thing and it changed direction
