I had to sub in some scenes from game of thrones and house of the dragon bc I couldn’t get a dragon in game to fly how I wanted it to fly x-x

There’s four in there that are mine and those ones are Rowan, Astrea, Malith and Varyk
The one that isn’t mine is a buddies and his name is Beans
Here’s some art of Varyk, Rowan and Astrea. I haven’t done maliths yet
Rowan is a strength / faith build, Astrea is an int build and Varyk is kinda all over the place so to put it simply he’s got a fire knight and drake hunter build so our groups dragon can be with us in game and not just in drawings

Malith’s build is like a hunter of the dead build but he’s also as close to Maliketh as I could get him bc in our lore he’s Malikeths right hand

Afaik a flamberge is a specific type of undulating blade, a zweihander can have a flamberge or a straight blade. You can have flamberge longswords, flamberge rapiers, etc etc...
In this case it would be a zweihander, but of the slightly shorter kind considering historical zweihanders would go up to 2 meters in length, and that one is slightly smaller than that

Got me curious and looking at wikipedia, looks you’re right about the undulating blade, but apparently flamberge is a term that can mean pretty much any kind of sword, with or without the undulating blade(also referred to as a flame-bladed sword) Appreciate both the point about its application to any kind of blade, and the onus to learn more about the term flamberge!

I attempted to link the wikipedia, but as I figured bot didn’t like it, look up “flame-bladed sword” on it and there’s a flamberge section

Hm. And I’ve found two directly conflicting sentences.
“The two most common flame-bladed swords are rapiers or Zweihänders”
“The two-handed flame-bladed sword is referred to by the German Flammenschwert (literally "flame-sword"). These swords are very similar to the two-handed sword or Zweihänder, the only difference being the blade.”

So, probably a semi common case of sword categories not always being the strictest, and different people having different definitions
