I’d argue Faith is overall actually better than int due to buffs and the much higher variety of statuses and damage types you can use plus some frankly ridiculous weapons like Blasphemous Blade, but raw dps wise int is frequently the best choice in a lot of scenarios

1. Don't let her heal when her attacks are blocked. Not only does it make fighting her more frustrating but it does not make any sense.

Try a region locked challenge (one of my personal favorites is new weapon every boss, or every main boss if you want to be easier on yourself and use a certain weapon more), this lets you skip the laundry list of items you have to grab every new playthrough and lets you get straight into the action, but if it’s too tough for you difficulty wise you can always go off and doing something else in the area to power/gear up if you need to
