Before their conflict, red and prince pig (soon to be king pig) were good friends. Birds and pigs lived in peace. Prince pig (much to the dislike of his father, king mud beard) would Often go over to red's place. Red's mother would often sneak photos of the two having fun and playing together. The only photo red and Leonard have together at the pig castle is Prince pig's portate

Leonard, the prince pig, was just Tryna by a candy apple from the local vendor just beyond the castle wall. When he was confronted by those two jerks, bomb and chuck, who roughed him up, covered him in mud and ruined his apple. Before a small looking red bird splashed down in between the three and started defending the pig, getting into a violent fight until the two jerks went running. And this is the moment the prince and the bird first met, and became best friends

After the fight in pig town, red takes his new friend to see his mother, so she could get them cleaned up. She's sceptical of the young pig at first, but she quickly comes around, cleaning em up and making them fresh, home made candy apples

After being cleaned up and having a few snacks at red's place, Leonard takes red back to his place, which just so happens to be the piggy castle! The two run around the halls of the castle for quite a while, and finally take a break, right next to the king pig's throne as he is giving a speech
