i wanna put some stuff here because i got a few hot takes that i know a lot of people wont agree with

• i do not like ice bird. i do not like angry birds space, either. in fact, i prefer angry birds seasons because theres variety and i like how cultures are portrayed in that game. space has variety in character designs and thats really it. i dont care for it, and i never have.

• im not a huuuge fan of hal. i find him rather useless. i DO like him as a character, though. wish we got more of him but whatever.

• i dont like the slingshot gameplay. thats why i prefer bad piggies a whole lot more than any other game from rovio thats angry birds related. i do not find it fun, even if "im good at it."

• lastly... this is one ive said many times, but i genuinely do not understand the hate for the movie designs. sure they're just for marketing the films, but they dont really use them as much as people say they do. when it comes to merchandise (movie-related mind you) or series like mystery island or the summer camp series, i dont have a problem with it and its literally just for kids anyway. also, they are NOT that bad. in fact, i love the diversity with designs in the films and even the series i mentioned. while they're usually simple colors in the two series or kinda one or two body types in mystery island, in the film they have so many different shaped and colored birds and even different shaped pigs. they may not be super appealing, but at least they arent all/they arent mostly circles like the games and the classic versions. i prefer seeing diverse shaped characters and colors on characters than really anything.

I think its main problem is that it was way overhyped for what it was. Like, with that amount of hype people expected it to be permanent, along with Ice Bird. Not a limited time event and a teaser to a bird that’s completely unrelated to Space, (although still very cool).

Another thing that (IMO at least) kind of hurts the Stella flock (all of them) is a lot of them kind of fill similar niches to main flock members.

Poppy's the Chuck, can be loud and obnoxious but ultimately means well. Always willing to have a fun time, even at the wrong time.
Willow's the Hal, low social battery, likes her friends but also sometimes needs time away from them, likes the arts (illustrating and painting instead of music, but it's all still art.) and nature, spins around to attack.
Luca's the Blues, literally a cyan coloured hatchling that enjoys goofing around and causing mayhem, and puts himself in danger with his own antics at times.

Dahlia's the only one that doesn't really have one single bird that she mirrors. She's got some things in common with Red and Silver, but it doesn't get to the point of encroaching on either at all.

I still think it'd be easy to have all of them coexist, and advocate for that to be the case, but it's still something to keep in mind.

I like what they did with Shade/Dahlia as a baseline, give a character a cool new alter-ego of sorts, but I also really don't want them to do the same thing for all of them, assuming they add the others.
It might be odd to have some altered and some stay the same but IMO it'd be the best way to do it. (You could probably still give them alternate powers without changing all their names/designs tbh.)
