This new module gives you access to a ton of GPIO in a compact package. It includes 2 Qwiic connectors, solder pads, and a 12-pin Interface connector. The Interface cable opens up possibilities for connecting custom modules with a single cable (secondary MCU, HID PCB, etc).

You get access to these pins from any RAK base board with an "IO Slot"
IO3, IO4, IO5, IO6, IO7, SDA (I2C1), SCL (I2C1), RX (D0), TX (D0), LED1, LED2, VDD, 3V3_S, and GND.

I wanted to create this module about a year ago. I finally made the time and here we are. Thank you @timber pasture for lots of discussions about what pins would be most useful. You made this happen!

I'm most excited to see how people use the 12-pin Interface connector. I hope it will eventually be used for connecting to other boards that could be an entire interface or a board that includes a secondary MCU or for a whole sensor suite. There are so many possibilities.

Compatible with WisBlock “IO Slot” including: RAK19007, RAK19010, RAK19001, RAK19011, RAK5005-O, RAK19026 (new WiseMesh board) and RAK19008 (ext. cable). It does NOT work with the RAK19003 (since it doesn't have an IO Slot).

Each module comes with 2 Qwiic cables and a 12-pin Interface cable.

Kinda funny, I was refreshing your etsy page every day waiting for this, and I stopped probably the day before you posted and just now saw this!
