#Hera (Chapter 7) Terrain Material

To import append the Hera Terrain node group.
SETUP
- Using FortnitePorting, navigate to the map tab and import the map's terrain.
- Select all the imported tiles, (Delete spawn island if it exists.) Make sure at least one is selected as the active object and press Ctrl J to join them all together.
- Enter edit mode and press A, then M, and select
By Distance - Apply Transforms on the terrain mesh
- Head to the UV Editing tab, and in edit mode, with the entire mesh selected, press the blue Z top right in the gizmo to enter top-down view. Now, press U, and hit
Project From View (Bounds) - Back in object mode, go to the materials tab, click the little drop-down arrow and click 'Remove All Materials' add a single new one, and inside this material you can set up the node group as follows.
All of these attribute nodes can be found by doing Shift+A and searching for their name. Or, by creating an attribute node and typing in the name of the respective mask.
