I think Oaklands would really benefit from adding a logging semi truck—a truck specifically designed for transporting large logs, like the one shown in the image. Right now, we have the semi that starts as a flatbed and can be upgraded into a box truck, which is great for general hauling, but it doesn’t really work well for carrying trees or long logs.
When players cut down big trees, it can be frustrating trying to load them onto a flatbed or fit them into a box truck. Logs roll off, don’t stack properly, or just feel awkward to transport. This makes wood farming less efficient and honestly less fun than it could be.
A logging semi truck would solve this perfectly. It could have:
Open sides with vertical supports (stakes) to keep logs in place
A longer and slightly lower trailer to make loading easier
Maybe even straps or auto-align features to secure logs
This would make transporting wood way smoother and more realistic. It would also give players who focus on logging a proper upgrade path instead of relying on vehicles that aren’t designed for the job.
On top of that, it would add more variety to vehicles in the game and make the world feel more immersive. Seeing dedicated trucks for specific tasks (like logging) would make Oaklands feel more like a real working environment rather than just a general sandbox.
Overall, I think a logging semi truck would:
Improve gameplay efficiency for wood cutting
Reduce frustration when loading/unloading logs
Add realism and variety to the game
Give players a new goal/vehicle to work toward
I’d love to see something like this added in the future!
