Cant use matgun's UI in freecam anymore

it is techincally a bug/oversight but i was able to keep matgun's UI open during freecam and fill my giant structures by
equip it first
enters building mode
clicks on freecam
then exits out of building mode to use matgun and click whatever materials I need

Now I cant keep freecam as I exit out of building mode
this is a serious issue

I have very large project that has over 2k parts already

I rely on freecam so I can fill easily
