In oaklands, there are plenty of rare items. Such as the axes dropped from darklings, The ribmaul dropped from the skeleton, Perhaps the rare trophys. So why not add a system so it would:
Indicate loot drop (Light etcher/ Ribmaul/ etc.)
Indicate rare items (neon cheese/glass duck/ etc.)
But why?
Because sometimes it may not be noticed without proper concentration. Such as the axes from the void. It is dark. And sometimes you have to fight them in hordes.
But add a switch that can control this notifier. Or filter some items.
For example:
When player ticks a certain loot from the UI, The item/loot will be notified.
When player switches the notifier off, there won’t be an indication of a loot/item drop.

Dark_axe_Darkling_Has_Dropped_A_Shadow
_Etcher
Skeleton_King_Has_Dropped_A_Acid_Crown
Add a log of items and a waypoint in the map to toggle when to find if it has not been seen, Or not to not distract the player while doing certain tasks. -The log can be found in the UI-
