The Pacific Madrone, Lemon-Scented Gum & Redwood trees would make a fantastic addition to the list of trees found in the game. These trees would offer more color variety and uniqueness compared to the other wood types.
The Pacific Madrone tree is found near coastal environments on the West Coast of the Americans, primarily in California, Oregon, Washington, Canada. It has a unique yellow-red color gradient that sets it apart.
The Lemon-Scented Gum is a eucalyptus tree that stands incredibly tall, primarily found near coastal regions. It has a pure white bark with an off-white colored wood. These are one of my favorite trees due to the fact they actually release a faint scent!
The Redwood is a classic tree that most people have heard of, they are a famous Californian tree known for being the biggest tree species in the world. This would offer a challenge to players, because cutting these beasts down will take a very long time, but will offer a lot of wood. I'm not sure how you'd fit these in planking machines though, I think to actually add these there'd need to be a feature to quarter logs. Or maybe after cutting one of them down the logs are automatically dropped shrunken down to a manageable size, but there'd be multiple logs that drop.
