Dexter comes into a brand new Kennesaw State offense. And here’s a few thing the OC is bringing to the table:
“Offensive Coordinator Mitch Militello also joins in his first year. His offense is heavily influenced by Josh Huepel which should bring a much more fast paced, spread style approach.”
“The offense is hoping to deliver many more explosive plays after shifting from a Pistol/Run Heavy to a Spread offense”
Kennesaw last season was one of the most run heavy teams in all of football. The spread offense should warrant some more pass calls. Also the high tempo offense they want to run.
Given the run game dominance last year, the QB still cleared this line in 7/11 games.
Wake forest had a bottom 5 defense in passing categories last season including yards 4th worst, 4th highest opponent completion percentage and most importantly the 1st most opponent passing attempts per game at 39.0.
Will need to pass most of this game at it is a 19.5 point spread and Wake Forest was the 12th fastest team in college so should be plenty of plays to go around tonight

My top play for tonight. Koziol has seen 15 targets in two games this season despite sitting large amounts of the games due to blowouts. The next closest on the team has seen 6 total targets. In a game that will be more competitive than the previous two I think we could see similar or higher target numbers.

Haynes King is 1/15 in his last 3 seasons at GT in wins. 0/7 on games that GT won by 11 or more points. His one miss was at 31 a hook. In this game GT held only a 3 point lead until 6 minutes left.
GT has called run plays on 62% of plays so far this season, that is top 11 in this category
-14.5 point spread in this game so don’t think GT will be needing to throw this ball late into the game.
On top of all this, we got a good chance of rain all day in Wake Forest so should see even more runs
