#Salmonids job tree

uhm well idk much about salmonids however iirc goldies have high ranks in salmonid society, so definitely not starting off as such, also salmonids get different ranks depending on how hard their lives are so its likely smallfries are adults
and now i have no source for this but i heard that like, snatchers are rookies? and that the fish on fish sticks are baby stingers? thats all i vaguely know, im sure someone more knowledgeable could correct me
uhm if i am right then what i have mentioned does agree with the chart for the most part
Yeah, the fish stick smallfries with the best breath are selected to be stingers, and also snatchers that collected a lot of golden eggs on the battlefield get promoted to chums
So I included that in
yea
But I don’t understand why you say smallfries are adults, there are litterally chums but younger and they have a spoon, which make me think of children for some reason
hm well i was always under that impression since they said they climb the ranks by having harder lives or sumn, but after going over that chart again it seems you probably know more about salmonids so yk
its like i know splatoon lore but its been so long that its beginning to blend together
I didn’t know they climb ranks like that
I remember the smallfries being adults too
They are already trying to stop us from getting they kids it would be foolish to send more children to the battlefield to get slaughtered
Maybe the smallfries are very youngs warriors trying to prove themself for the first time on the battlefield then
I really think smallfries are children salmonids: for exemple the Salmonids on a fish stick are smallfries, and it’s said in the grizzco book that smallfries with a good breath or something can become stingers later. Considering stingers are the size of a chum, it means salmonids grow in size as they get older. And since smallfries are super small, they are definitely children
big shots are steelheads but they don't want to directly harm people so i doubt they'd go to cohozuna
also a griller isn't a salmon, it's octarian tech established that they traded with octarians for
and i would personally separate boss salmons as a whole too
so then wouldn't it just be a regular salmon and not a boss?
btw there are no chinooks on the chart
they are being grilled alive, and since they vary via hard lives i would consider them boss salmonid
also like iirc the training manual treats them as such so
You can see a fish tail at the back of it, it’s controlled by a salmonid of the size of a chum
The flying guys from the mothership?
yea
no like the grillers ARE bosses but it would be better to put random salmons in there instead of ones specifically trained to do special tasks
I guess they are just chums
manual calls them chinooks
by that logic you cant consider grillers their own thing
so then they're not
uh they arent boss salmonid but they definitely deserve their oen spot
the chinooks i mean
I just forgot them on the chart tbh
grillers should just stem off the chum and chinooks stem off the snatcher
both snatchers and chinooks fly
i think before jumping to that conclusion you should examine their appearance
Agreed, but for the griller, since it’s said that grillers are the pinnacle of salmonid artillery, I thought only trained Salmonids could pilot it, like drizzlers, steel eel…
and both carry golden eggs
but usually they have key details that go unnoticed under normal gameplay
would assume that since most chums undergo special training to be scrappers that grillers have their own special training and are just another branch of chum
Okay
would you care to tell me one of these
i dont know, however i know there are
thats why im suggesting such
just, not me
too lazy
so you're assuming and claiming that there must be
I think they make the same sounds
thanks for the input
thats not my point, ive seen them up close i couldn't tell you off the top of my head
if your gonna do a precise chart you cant just do it on the fly
It’s the sound of a squizzed mouse
so build an argument before you respond????
i never built an argument
you can continue the chart but in the future im just saying that it may need to be modified
its more of a disclaimer i guess
smh smh so defensive for no reason
talk about annoying
Btw on the chart I put maws after flipper-flopper but honestly I’m not sure at all. Their pink skin colour is very weird and confusing
flipper flopper and maws seem two different things they just function mildly similarly
Maws is maws
- apparently maws are female, which is even more confusing
are you saying salmonoids can't be female? omg cancelled
NO but what I’m saying is that I made a mistake by placing maws with flipper-flopper
yeah maws is like
very different from flippeer flopper
they both enter ink however it seems literally anything can, theres even a little comic of lil buddy drooling salmonid ink and then submerging in it
where's the comic from
They still have similarities. The hability to swim in ink and inability to stand on their feet. I mean they don’t have feet but you know what I’m trying to say
the artbook
i keep forgetting the s3 one already released
If any salmonids could enter in ink, then they will all do that but they don’t, it doesn’t make sense
i n e e d i t
cough gameplay purposes
i mean, entire crates go in ink
master mega goes in ink
mines can go in ink (ill admit they are made of ink)
Sorry for ping but Goldies were referred to as females in the dutch translation of Splatoon 2. Just for your fun information.
i think that they dont necessarily need to be female
the maws at least
like
people call big scary or dangerous things "she" sometimes
And here we go again
and the british referred to their country as 'her'
as they did the navy
and the army
I prefer them being referred to as female cuz my goldie oc is female. I do fine the Goldies feminine in a way as well. Then again i kinda contradict myself with this artpeice.
you sure do have a particular artstyle
