I know there are some contentious issues, of which I have been made aware of when seeing the posts regarding Smallfry posts. I am guilty of reacting with the little guy a bit too much myself, and will definitely make an effort going forward to not contribute meaningless shit-posting.
But overall, with the drip & clips 3 threads, I have seen an uptick in good discussion and fun topics. For reference, I am actively posting and a part of various other Discord servers such as R/Valorant, R/BrawlStars, R/Fortnite, R/LeagueofLegends, discussions can be as boring as "What's your favorite champion?" While it is always wonderful to strive for improvement and to maintain a healthy balance between memes & meaningful discussion, and while I am a relative newcomer compared to some here, I think it's important to be grateful for the accepting, fun and healthy population the server enjoys.
Love to be here and will always support the Splatoon community, just wanted to give my two cents and will certainly keep the other communities feelings regarding spam and emoji overkill.
