Hi! I'm new here and CharaChorder One.
I'm Japanese and want to input LANG1 (英数) / LANG2 (かな) key, but it not works.
Those keys are very important for Japanese users to switch IME language between English and Japanese. How it solved?
Thank you for helping.

Details

OS: macos 14.6.1
I forced the keyboard detected as JIS keyboard
Keyboard: CHARACHORDER ONE M0 Version 1.1.4
Layout: Attached one
Testing with: Event viewer of Karabiner https://karabiner-elements.pqrs.org/

I tried

  1. Made the layout to attached one, detect the keyboard as ANSI and Event viewer of Karabiner didn't detect any key events for inputing LANG1/LANG2
  2. Made the layout to attached one, detect the keyboard as JIS and Event viewer of Karabiner didn't detect any key events for inputing LANG1/LANG2

The actions "Lang1", "Lang2", etc. are listed as:

Not required to be supported by any OS

Ekagu-san, thank you for your comment!
I'm already using switching key combination you wrote, but it's not comfortable for me. I want to realize comfortable inputing experience with best keyboard.

Using QMK firmware, LANG1/LANG2 is working on my ErgoDoxEZ. I believe CharaChorder can same.

On your ErgoDoxEZ, what does the Event viewer in Karabiner detect when you press the keys that are mapped to: LANG1/LANG2

Let's ask the CC developers if CCOS can add support for that. @fickle sapphire
