3D press versus diagonal press

Please clarify: a 3D press is different than a diagonal press. Yes?

On the CharaChorder website https://www.charachorder.com/pages/learning-to-chord, there is a video that is mixing up the terms, I think.

You are correct, a 3D press is different for m a diagonal press. A Diagonal press is pressing two quadrants of the switch at the same time, like North and East, while a 3D press is pressing the switch down into the device.

And you're also right, the terms are mixed up in the link.
