Is there anything you can do when you have a loose joystick on the CC1? I have one kind of loose joystick (not terribly, but noticeably compared to the others), and I've only been using the thing for about a week now. Technically I've owned it for an entire year, but I literally only started using it a week ago. Is there any way to tighten the joystick (perhaps by opening the device and maybe tightening a screw)? I looked for images of the CC1 internals online but could not find any images. Are you just s*** out of luck once you have a loose joystick? I am almost considering getting a new device because it's so annoying. However, I hesitate to buy a new device because I've read other users complaining about this issue after only using the device for a few weeks. To be fair, The device "works" just fine. But to reiterate, it's just rather annoying. If there's anything that can be done about it, please let me know!

GG @leaden yacht, you just advanced to level 3!
The sticks are firmer when they are new. I'm guessing that it's normal behavior for them to become looser the more they are used. If that's the case then you would see the same behavior with a new device.
I've had a CC1 for about two months and the index sticks on both halves feel loosest because they get the most use (space, backspace). I don't think about which sticks are looser/firmer while I'm typing. I'm just focusing on not pressing the wrong key 😄
It was only when I saw someone mention a loose stick in chat that I thought: Hmm.. I guess these are a little looser.
But I haven't thought about it since, until this post.
About opening it up, they state here that: https://www.charachorder.com/pages/hardware-troubleshooting
The CharaChorder is not designed to be user serviceable at this time. If for some reason you need to, please contact support to get their advice before you attempt to do so.
Maybe you could record a video and post it here, demonstrating the difference between a loose and a firm stick. Then a moderator could confirm if it's abnormally loose.
CharaChorder is a new class of peripheral device which allows ordinary people to type faster than is physically possible on any keyboard. Users can type entire words in a single motion by pressing all the letters of a word simultaneously. CharaChorder’s internal processor arranges these letters on-screen in real time.
