Deleting a chord with dot i/o doesn't delete it. The chord still fires.

Can you show us which chord?

This seems to be because dot i/o doesn't provide feedback when it fails to save or delete a chord. Repro steps:

  1. connect CCX
  2. read chords from CCX
  3. physically unplug CCX
  4. replug CCX. Now, the CCX is connected to the computer and acting as a keyboard, but is NOT connected to dot i/o
  5. modify a chord, dot i/o will not complain and the user does not know that saving the changes did not succeed

I see, but is this what happened in the first case? You lost serial connection to Dot IO? And otherwise it does not delete correctly?

#

If so that's great and I'll file the enhancement to let the user know when the serial connection has been lost

I'm pretty sure that is what happened initially, yeah

Yeah, feature-enhancement ticket would be very appreciated
