Please, for the love of marketing, get a new trailer to for 1.0 to help promote Screeps Arena, to show on Steam, and actually show off the game. The original Screeps World trailer is a perfect example. Here's what it did right:

  1. Immediately show the game, and a pretty advanced bot at that (sort of foreshadowing & a taste of what you can achieve)
  2. Fun music instead of bad AI voicover (voiceover can work but it needs to sound good, say less ("less is more") and not be so aggressive sounding)
  3. Showed everything you can do starting from simple to complex (basically leading up to the advanced bot shown at the start)

Maybe we should do that at some point indeed. A small request to all: if you find a funny or powerful moment in a replay worth to be included in a trailer, please share the link in this thread.

Yeah lol problem is everyone has debug visuals. But, I think 2-4 hours of B-role of different arenas and skill levels can be captured pretty easily, then editing the trailer with some feedback cycles. Like, this is a $100-500 job for someone experienced in this. (I am not that person)
