struggling with django

Hello, currently my friends and I are working on a college website project and we are using django framework to make a website similar to pinterest integrated with colorwise. Strictly speaking, we are not planning on deploying the website, its just to show our professor for semester grading . So any suggestions and help would be really appreciated especially with colorwise.

What help? If it's your learning project whole point is that you do it. If you have concrete points where something is not clear or code review we can certainly assist

Are you sure django is the right framework for you? If the point is to learn django, great. If the point is to develop a class project, I might recommend Flask as an easier entry point.
