Does an epic crash reporter window pop up?
The crash window contains an "epic id" field, which is empty.
I forgot to take a screenshot, will take one when i try again. my fuess would be something hardware related though, wow crashed with a similar error
if you get the epic window ensure you submit it through the tool. Adding some informaiton about what you were doing before the crash can also be helpful
I did another test. I disabled the RAM OC in my BIOS. After that, the game still crashed after about 10 min, but without any error message, i just get booted back to desktop.
WoW stopped crashing after the change, as fat as i can tell in my limited time.
Another update on that issue:
After disabeling xmp i looked into the windows event log after a crash to desktop without error window as described above.
Turns out, that my nvidia driver crashed somehow.
After scouering the Internet i figuered the best aproach would be:
- booting into safe mode
- use DDU to remove the driver
- reinstalled the driver
That fixed the issue of the game crashing after 10 min.
I could finish a campaing mission without issues.
Sadly, as i was clicking in the result screen of the mission 3, i was booted back to Desktop and i could not find any reports of what caused that.
Did you have a specific Nvidia driver ipreviously isntalled?
Before trying the ddu aproach, i already had the latest driver installed in an attempt to fix the issues.
I cant remeber which version i used before.
My latest "problem" seems to be somehow related to an audio driver.
But if the game only crashes after a mission, then the issue is minor. Annoying but playable.
