I have setup snapcenter for VMware 6.2P1

We are running VMware 9.0.2 and ONTAP 9.18.1P4

We are running NVME over TCP for datastores and using a vSphere Metro Storage Cluster

SC seems to take snapshots fine but when we try and doing a restore of a whole VM i get the following errors

Cannot complete the operation. See the event log for details. Unable to mount datastores: <datastore> in Backup: 2.Failed to create NAMESPACE clone : Failed to create NAMESPACE clone <volume> on volume <Volume> Failed to map the NVMe Subsystem. Mapping of a namespace which is part of a SnapMirror active sync consistency group and a namespace which is not part of the same consistency group to a single subsystem is not supported. ,

Hi Greg , We recommend opening a case with NetApp support. There was one instance where the datastore volume did not have enough space and it fails to create the namespace.

So i opened an case and it seems its SnapCenter for VMware it not support for Snapmirror Activesync relationships using NVME over TCP. Was told need to talk to account teams to try and push it to get supported :(.. not i need to figure out a manual process to get restores done
