AIQ-Need to disable volume alert

Hi All,

I got one user request the threshold alert should be set as 95%.

In AIQ default threshold alert is default set as 90% .
My request is only one volume needs to be set as 95% threshold and then the alert needs to send user.

I worked on :
1 AIQ unified manager--storage management --Alert setup--selected the particular volume kept as disable ,still the alert is receiving alert

2.AIQ unified manager--storage management --Alert setup--edit --Resoucres--selected all volumes in Include and then in Exclude selected particular volume then saved all configure.

3. In policy I have done same as Exclude .

4.Still receiving alert s.

Can anyone suggest on this

For AIQUM, you need to go to the volume, click actions and edit threshold to access the per volume threshold. it's not in the alerts.

Exclusions would be in the specific alert configuration, not in policy. I'm not sure what you did there.

for this issue, setting the individual volume threshold is the best option.

you also mentioned user. do you mean quota alerts instead of volume alerts?

qtree quotas would be handled the same way as volume capacity thresholds. just use the qtree quota setting instead on the volume specific thresholds.
user quotas, I believe you need to edit the quota limits in ontap.
