@ionic cypress Do you have an AFX in the lab yet as MDE today only supports AFX. If so I can connect you with the PM for AIDE to get you going...

Yeah I just noticed that. I thought it was communicated that the first version MDE would also support unified systems.

#

Guess we need to wait for the next one.

#

Do you see MDE also being supported on VMs? The requirements for the 3x third- party server are quite high. For a newly deployed AFX cluster that's no issue since it's only a small fraction of the total cost. But to support MDE for existing unified systems it's a bit high.

MDE is not yet decoupled from the cluster network, that's targeted for a future release. Support for other AFF clusters is targeted for June 30 release.*

I have not heard of a committed roadmap for VM support, but a future vision is to support a customer's k8s environment.

*these are fwd looking goals, Nothing is real until it ships.

Since you seem to be "the guy": Any way partners can get a lab for AIDE / MDE?
We can't really demo that part of an AFX cluster since nobody can provide us much more than either pre-recorded videos or those "interactive" live-demo sites which are still from Insight-last-years-times and (i guess) do not really reflect the current user experience with AIDE.
