#Migrate from NAS to S3

Hello,

Is it possible to migrate from a NAS volume to a S3 bucket, removing entirely NAS access ? I know you can do a S3 NAS bucket but this allows both protocol access.

Or is it better to create a clean bucket and migrate manually the data

is the current nas volume a flexvol?

Might be easier to move it to a new object only. There's also permissions to deal with when you do the File/Object duality. I dont think you can ever really remove the NAS file persmissions in that situation.
