Hi, is it even possible to some how limit metadata consumption as in limiting the object size or count for a specific tenant or endpoint? I am having a tenant that is used for Veeam doing a bunch of small objects and eating up a lot of metadata. My node has 60% of 3TB metadata reserved space and as per documentation I don’t or can’t extend it I believe. So trying to find what is the best alternative I have here. My storage consumption is quite low so buying new nodes is not a good decision either. Appreciate advice.

yeah, that's one of the prime issues with Veeam backups... Are you using SSD or HDD based Grid nodes?
Are you using appliances or bare metal? If you have space available on volume0 and 128G+ memory, you should be able to increase the metadata space
https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/storagegrid/admin/increasing-metadata-reserved-space-setting.html
I am using SG5812 Storagegrid appliances with 22TB HDDs
@errant island The issue is I don't have 128GB memory per node. From what i read I only have 64GB memory which won't allow me to increase the metadata capacity if I understand the doc correctly
I wonder if metadata only nodes might be useful in this situation, I havent looked into the requirements so I cant really say, but they can be appliances, bare-metal or virtual
