#Upgrade results in duplicate dashboards

Just updated NABox and Harvest to the latest versions. After the system rebooted, I noticed I have duplicate dashboards; not all are duplicated, but most are. Is there a way to clean them up?

I have lots of custom dashboards, unfortunately.

Shoot… how comfortable are you with working with grafana.db on a different machine ?

gentle mango
#

Not very. I can follow directions, but wouldn't know what to do myself

#

If I tried to delete them from the Dashboards panel does it matter which of the two I try to delete?

If I correctly captured the issue you wouldn’t be able to delete either. But the random name is the one that should go.

#

If you’re able to send me grafana.db I can do the cleanup

I am a dark site, I don't have the ability to do that. Is there a guide on how to do it?

@covert heron Could you explain how to identify random names?

covert heron
#

They look random 😁

#

Instead of cdotsomething for example.

@covert heron I must be seeing a different issue; I don't see any random names; I see some dashboards listed twice; when I open them, they appear to have the same data

Ok it means in the URL. That’s where the random part is.

@covert heron Ok, I see what you mean. I cannot delete them, but I can move them in to a "Random URLs after Update Folder". If they don't hurt anything, I can move them there and leave them.

Ah that’s a nice trick

#

Well no that’s ugly in reality, but it is a trick ! 😂

Thanks Yann

If you send me grafana.db I can clean it up. Maybe I can figure something out to do with next upgrade too.

gentle mango
#

Unfortunately I can't. We are a dark site, I do not have the ability to transfer the db to the internet site.

@covert heron I am all cleaned up. I have an extra folder called 2Del, but that's okay
