Depending on NABox version, There is an option. If you are using latest NABox version 4.1.1, It has mcp and access for victoria metrics
What is NABox version?
Where I can check on the installed
But I am not getting above nabox admin page, since I have installed harvest and configured it long back
Yes, and I am updating the harvest only
I am not sure if this was supported in NABox3
But moving to NABox4 may be better as it already has MCP server in built which your agent can consume directly
https://nabox.org/documentation/migration/
We are using ovirt can I use aemu image
Let's wait for @vague galleon on this.
Ovirt should support qemu I believe yes.
Well you can also try to see if https://nabox/prometheus endpoint would be available.
If that’s the case you can configure it with your own deployment of the harvest mcp server.
The /prometheus endpoint should work, it does for me in the lab
I have Prometheus installed manually and how can I migrate the data to new data base
Can any one explain how to migrate the data
I'm confused sorry, can we start from scratch ?
Migrate from where to where ? Current NAbox 3 to self owned Prometheus ? New one or existing one ?
I have installed Prometheus using rpm and installed harvest rpm and collecting the data. The above setup I have installed 2 years ago and I am updating the harvest with new release. Now I want to convert that data to Victoria metrics for using mcp
You don't have to use VM to use MCP, you can do that with Prom as well
Oh I see... You're migrating a manual Harvest deployment to NAbox ? But where does NAbox 3 come from ?
There was no nabox I am using. I was confused at that time
