#Not running CVO charging

Are there any CVO costs when the instance is powered off?

We have the requirement to just snapmirror update once a day for 1 hour.
The costs for compute are hourly based but CVO is charged 24h.

In Azure SaaS Subscription we see this - This suggests that the service is billed on an hourly basis.
CVO Essentials Secondary plan, Single Node: €0.05303 per tb per hour

I did not found a KB or Docs content which describes this in detail.

There is not a way to turn off the SaaS. Yes the license cost is continuous but we can do a private offer through the marketplace that would allow you to pay it all upfront if you wished. Contact your NetApp Azure specialist for more info on that!

Thanks @fathom oar

The SaaS subscription is essentially a wrapper used for billing purposes.
However, whether CVO licenses are billed within this wrapper on an hourly basis or on a 24x7 basis is a separate question for me.
The SaaS wrapper can be used to bill all NetApp data services, for example Cloud Sync, which follows a different billing model.
